He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Ray and Stella May Riley (Belt); his grandson Tommy Davis; his siblings, Barbara Marsee, Phyllis Swango, Kenneth Riley and Bobby Riley; his siblings-in-law, Dale Workman, Doug Swango and Linda Riley; and his in-laws, Alfred and Naomi Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Riley; his children, Wesley Riley (Stephanie) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Nicole Grell (Tim) of Greendale, IN, Sharon Powell (Doug) of Rittman, OH and Sheila Moahan (Rick) of Culpeper, VA; his sisters, Carol Workman of Bright, IN and Sandy Jordan (Bobby) of Manchester, IN; his brother-in-law Gene Marsee of Milan, IN; and his grandchildren, Montana, Bradley, Ashley, Nathan, Janelle, Brandon, James and Linda. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fitch Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
