He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bissett and Amy Louise Myers; his former wife Jean Ellen Check; and his siblings, James and Patricia McAnlis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Fuchs; his children, Richard Bissett (Joellen), Jeffrey Bissett (Cristen), Jill Bissett and Carla Stewart; his siblings, George, Thomas, Duane and Kay Phillips; his grandchildren, Ryan Bissett, Jeanna James, Darren Bissett, Bradey Gamble, Lexi Bissett, Dyllon Stewart, Robert "Robbie" Stewart, Hunter Bissett, Noah Bissett and Jordan Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Wesley James, Cameron James and Wyatt Gamble; and his siblings-in-law, Wally McAnlis and Sandy Bissett Habib.
