He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Theresa Horstman (Paul), Tammy Cunningham (Dave), Deron Hornbach and Doug Hornbach (Dawn); his stepchildren, Justin Daugherty, Patrick Daugherty (Lisa) and Linya Rehmel (Chris); his siblings, Janet Hornbach and Bert Helfer (Dave); his sister-in-law Donna Gorby; and his grandchildren, Jill Kaercher (Justin), Tracy Hartman (Dan), John Horstman (Hannah), Kevin Cunningham (Ashley), Kyle Cunningham (Lauren), Sarah Ashcraft (Blake), Alex Hornbach (Therese), Luke Hornbach (Madelyn), Matthew Hornbach (Maddie), Emma Hornbach, Maggie Hornbach, Robert Daugherty, Olivia Daugherty, Ella Daugherty, William Daugherty, Isabelle Daugherty, Oliver Daugherty and Jared Rehmel. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Martin's Hall (8044 Yorkridge Rd, Guilford, IN 47022).
Memorials can be made for Masses or Loving Hearts Hospice.
