He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hilbert and Estella Hilbert (Thompson); his wife Connie Hilbert; his sons, Tim J., Eric Allen and John Bradley; and his brothers, Virgil Hilbert, Mark Hilbert, Marvin Hilbert and Les Hilbert.

He is survived by : his daughter Dina Seffrin (Carl); his granddaughter Shelby Lee (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Roan, Lorali, Joy and Carter; his siblings, Dean Hilbert and Judy Haisley; and his close friend Linda Cowan.
