He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Baron and Lula May Abell (Smith); his former wife Alma Abell (Pope); and his siblings, Clyde, Carl, Claude, Clarence, Jimmy, Howard Abell and Pauline Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; and his sister Mildred Harris. He is also survived by three foster children, four stepchildren.
