He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Jackie" Thalls and Edna Mae Thalls (Ratliff); his wife Mary Beth Thalls (Johnson); his siblings, Betty, Beverly, Patty, Nichole, Jerry, Jody and Dee; and his nephew Rick Little.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Jeff; and his daughter-in-law Mary Thalls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great-nieces, great nephews; and, great-great nieces and nephews.
