He was predeceased by: his parents, Zefphar Collins and Jeanette Collins (King); his siblings, Dian Eversole, Janice Farmer, Brenda Hampton, Robert Colliins and Jeff Collins; his mother-in-law Hazel Pugh; his nephew Terry Hampton; his niece Tara Miller; and his great-nephew Joshua Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Misty Jolene Gosser (Fred) and Christopher Douglas Collins; his granddaughters, Laney Jo Adams and Abigail Jolene Adams; his sister Joy Burelison; and his father-in-law Mitchell Pugh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Side Cemetery.
