We announce the death of Marcia Kay Foulke of Hagerstown, Indiana, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Elwood and Olive Elwood (Newbold); her husband Donn Foulke; her daughters, Debra Solomon and Cheryl Terhaar; and her siblings, Joseph, Gerald, Randall Elwood and Shirley Retherford.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Solomon (Kimberly) of Cambridge City, Mark Shafer (April) of Hagerstown and Jennifer Shafer (Summer) of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Cole Solomon of Riverview, FL, Nickie Estes of New Castle, Shelly Bloom (Caleb) of Hagerstown, Anna Shafer of Indianapolis and Charley Rinehart of Terre Haute; her sisters, Connie Rhodus of Hagerstown and Lisa Moore of New Castle; and her close friend Clarence Plankenhorn. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
