With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Shafer of Hagerstown, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Craig and Dorothy Craig (Smith); her brother-in-law Bill Bowman; and her nephew Winter Brown. She is survived by: her husband John Shafer of Hagerstown; her daughters, Emily Shafer of Noblesville, Amanda Puckett (James) of Oakland City and Rachel Truex (Mike) of Plainfield; and her grandchildren, Hank, Vivian, Dorothy and Charlotte Puckett.
