It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Verner Burns in Hamilton, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Irving R. Burns and Theresa Burns (Westphal); and his siblings, Irving R. Burns and Georgia Krueger. He is survived by : his children, Christine Smith, Patricia Brown (Rick) and Charles I. Burns (Sherry); and his sister Jeraldine Heyne.
