He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hartzell and Margaret Hartzell (Valentic); and his great grandchild Rosalie Hartzell. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Hartzell of Hamilton, IN; and his children, Thaddeus Hartzell of Alabama, Trish Hartzell of Sherwood, Peter Hartzell (Regina) of Alabama, Robert Rathburn (Misty) of Fort Wayne, IN and Ronda Schlegel (Jerl) of Spencerville, IN.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.
