We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 73, Rita Charlene Alexander of Hamilton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Theodore Payne and Helen V. Payne (Ingle); her husband Joe Alan Alexander; and her sister Janice Mielke (Wesley). She is survived by: her son Darrick Curtis of Edon; her stepsons, Jeff Alexander (Janis) of Angola, Brian Alexander (Jenny) of Angola and Todd Alexander (Renee) of New Haven; and her siblings, Jerry Payne (Mary Burrell) of St. Paris, OH, Donald Payne (Cathy) of Mooresville, IN, Joyce Nelson (Mike) of Fort Wayne, Sharon Crager (James) of Angola, Deborah Cleckner (Rick) of Angola and Carol German of Fairview, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
