Durre of Hamilton, Indiana, born in Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward E. Durre and Edith M. Durre (Yearling); and his siblings, John Durre, Carole McDonald and Linda Towsley.

He is survived by : his wife Janet J. Hurley of Hamilton, Indiana; his sons, Dennis Durre (Annette) of Mishawaka and Stanley Durre (Lori) of Hicksville, Ohio; and his granddaughter Hannah Sinclair-Mackling.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home - Hicksville Chapel (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the Forest Home Cemetery.
