She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Samys and Doris Samys Cornell (Cook); her husband Walter Bowen; her son Walter Allan Bowen; and her sisters, Judy Himes and Ernestine Siders.
She is survived by: her children, Kristy Kraus (Dave), Michele Bowen and Kerry Bowen; her grandchildren, Kevin Kraus (Stephanie), Ryan Kraus (Casey), Mathew Kraus, Katrina Lee (Brian) and Nathan Bromwell; and her siblings, Bridget Johnson and Doran Samys. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at the same location.
