He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria Curiel (Ochoa) and Roman Curiel; his wife Angeline (Ortiz); his son Alex (Patricia); and his brothers, Patrick, Leo and Eduardo.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick (Carol), Carolyn (Mark), Mike, Isabel James (David), Bernadette Sahulcik (Rick) and Louie; and his sister Berenice Valencia. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
