The memory of Anthony C. Azpeitia of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anthony touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Azpeitia and Faustina Azpeitia; and his son Mark Azpeitia. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Azpeitia; his children, Eddy Azpeitia and Elaine Stevens; his son-in-law Robert; and his sisters, Soledad Ruiz and Martha Seay.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
