He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley D. Potter and Elizabeth G. Potter. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Sheridan (Matthew), Elizabeth Trevino and Jessica Lain (Jeramiah); his grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Christian, Kylie, Savannah, Niko, Lucas, Benjamin, Alina, Madelyn, Jeramiah Jr. and Danibelle "Dani"; and his siblings, Suzie Roquet (Bob), Karen Moss (Steve) and Stanley "Skip" Potter (Gerri). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pruzin Funeral Home (14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, IN 46375). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for the education of his grandchildren.
