David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas "Leo" Luigs and Cecelia Molo (Dmochowski); and his brother Dallas Luigs. He is survived by: his children, Daryl Luigs and Jessica Stefanski (Bob); and his grandchildren, Robert, Emma and Jack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 17501 Dixie Hwy, Hazel Crest, IL 60430.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a local animal shelter or senior cat rescue, honoring his lifelong love for rescuing animals and giving older cats a loving home.
