It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diana Lynn Adkins of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Casey and Jewell Casey. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Kimberly Diane Martinez of Hammond and Gary Wayne Adkins, Jr. of Dyer, Indiana; her grandchildren, Javier Martinez, Jr., Hallie Pohrte, Joshua Martinez, Justin Adkins, Chandler Adkins and Ekaterina Adkins; her brothers, Roy Casey, Jr. and Chris Casey; and her sisters-in-law, Marylou Casey and Deidra Casey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home (4201 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ridgelawn Cemetery (4401 W Ridge Rd, Gary, IN 46408).
