It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elene E. Walker of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Elene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father William F.; her spouse Vincient Walker; and her brothers, William and Walter Holland. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Werd (Norman); her grandchildren, Alexandra Werd (Taylor Rasley) and Sydney Werd (Terrence Silkaitis); and her great grandchild Nora Rasley-Werd.
