Fern Stephenson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Stephenson (Hammond, Indiana), who passed away on May 7, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Orvel M. Stephenson; her parents, Fred Pomplun and Gertrude Pomplun; and her siblings, Edward, Ruth, Alvin and Fred.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hecht (Carl) and Orvel John Stephenson; her grandchildren, Eileen Maxwell (David) and Michael Hecht (Deana); her great grandchildren, Brian Maxwell (Melissa), Alex Maxwell (Jennifer), Tim Maxwell (Melissa), Elizabeth Maxwell, Alexandra, Kristen, Olivia and Amelia Hecht; her sister Gertrude Clark (Robert); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Pomplin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews; and many friends.

Family requests memorials to Concordia Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
