He is survived by: his wife Linda Downing; his sons, Jack Downing, Daniel Downing and Michael Downing; and his grandchildren, Amanda Frank (Joe), Zachary Downing, Ashley Rogers (Billy), Benjamin Downing (Saoirse) and Hannah Downing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
