He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Valente and Maria Valente; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his children, Maria Jacobs (late John), Michelle Sexton (Terence), John (Tracy), Peter (Abigail), Patrick (Cailin) and Timothy (Caitlin); and his sisters, Dina Valente and Toni McGarel.
