He is survived by: his parents, Joyce Mears and Bill Mears; his wife Alfreda "Freda" Mears; his stepchildren, Joshua Keyes and Natasha Keyes; his siblings, Lori, William "Butch" Mears (Ashley) and Robert "Bubba" Mears; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
