Lola C. Dankanich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lola C. Dankanich of Hammond, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Dankanich; her parents, Ernest Plath and Amelia Plath; and her brother Bruce Plath (Sandy). She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Ruth Daumer (David) and Marie Ellis (Robert); her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Fyfe (Steven), Anna Marie Catherine Daumer, Katia Ellis and Trent Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Isla Fyfe, Sidney Fyfe and Wesley Fyfe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends and beloved pets.
In lieu of flowers/plants, preferred memorials include: Lutheran Hour Ministries, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
