She was predeceased by: her husband Rafael Alcantar; and her granddaughter Adriana. She is survived by: her children, Elena, Isabel (Juan), Erik (Lupe) and Edgar; her grandchildren, Lizeth, Eduardo, Juan, Edgar Rafael, Erik, Jr. and Jovanni; and her great grandchildren, Jahayra, Adrianna, Yareli, Ricardo and Nizah. She is also survived by her loving brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kish Funeral Home (10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Souls Church (768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City, IL 60409). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
