He is survived by: his wife Deborah Van Meter; his children, Kristie Kerr (Robert) and Kevin Van Meter (Tash); his grandchildren, Gabriel Kerr, Casey Colt and Jaxon Van Meter; his brother-in-law Doug Shaw (Paula); and his pets, Chippewa, Cherokee, Shawnee, Apache and Chesapeke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
