With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Burfield of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband James Burfield Sr.; her son Timothy Burfield; her parents, Wallace Shoemaker and Rose Shoemaker; and her brother Wally Shoemaker (Speed).
She is survived by : her son James Burfield Jr. (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Erin Marcotsis (Costa), James Burfield (Chelsa) and Cara Chirstacakos (Bill). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammond Humane Society.
