It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edward Rosebaum of Hanna, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rosebaum and Ellen Rosebaum (Bauman); his wife Betty Jane Burns; and his siblings, Barbara Miller, Janet Crum and Phillip "Joe" Rosebaum.
He is survived by: his children, Colette Rosebaum of La Porte, John Rosebaum (Lisa) of Union Mills, Edward Rosebaum (Pam) of La Porte and Douglas Rosebaum (Tammy) of Hanna; his grandchildren, Brittany Pavelchak (Mike) of La Porte, Georgie Marvel (James) of La Porte, Heath Rosebaum (Natasha), Edward Rosebaum (Nicky) of La Porte, Benjamin Rosebaum (Tanner) of Union Mills and Nicholas Rosebaum of Hanna; and his great grandchildren, Louie, Rylee, Pax, Rowan, Edward, Jimmie, Lainey, Rainn and Sophie.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hanna Cemetery (12844 S 300 W, Hanna, IN 46340). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350).
