Augustus Cunningham Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Augustus Cunningham Jr. of Hanover, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Augustus has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus, Sr. Cunningham and Lilly Carpenter Cunningham; and his wife Rosalind. He is survived by: his sons, Augustus Cunningham, III (Shawna) of Louisville and Brian Cunningham of Louisville, Kentucky; and his sister Dorothy Jean Patton of Lexington, Kentucky. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
