He is survived by: his sons, Charles Paul Spitler of Austin, John Lucas Spitler (Marie) of Indianapolis and Thomas Lee Spitler (Stephanie) of Mascoutah, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jonathan Spitler (Emily), Andrew Spitler (Mila), Abigail Spitler and Justin Spitler; and his nieces and nephews, Velma Rae, Laura Jo, Jacqueline, Samuel, Paulette, Steve, Brad, David, Gary, Robin, Dennis and Bobby. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren.
