He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer W. Miller and Maxine Toole Miller; his wife Sandra Jean "Sis" Long Miller; his siblings, Barry Miller and Barbara Jane Miller Bright; and his siblings-in-law, James Robert Slayden and Donna Long.
He is survived by: his sons, James Wilford "Jay" Miller (Kelly) of Seymour, Andrew Joseph "Andy" Miller (Megan) of Clayton and Jon Daniel Miller of Hanover, Indiana; his grandchildren, Chelsea Banister (Nick), Mason Miller, Evelyn Miller and Lila Miller; his sisters, Sonya Walker (Lonnie) of Florida and Judy Slayden of Madison, Indiana; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Bright of Bloomington and James Franklin Long (Debbie) of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
