He is survived by: his granddaughters, Connie and Mary; his wife Mary F. Lyle Beatty of Hanover, Indiana; his children, Rodney Beatty (JoAnn) of Tampa, Michael Beatty (Starla Toomey) of Madison, Indiana, Connie Sproessig of Hanover and Mary Sanders of Hanover, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lori Burkhead of Taylorsville, Henry Rodney Beatty II of Franklin, Christopher Beatty of Hanover, Caitlin Beatty of Tampa, Dawn Higgins of Madison, Jessica Wynn of Madison, Stephanie Cook (Tim) of Westfield, Tredan Beatty of Madison and Jay Beatty of Hanover; and his sisters, Ruby Brightwell of Hanover, Rita Taylor of Louisville and Ernestine Owens of Queens. He is also survived by his thirteen great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
