He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie G. Maddox Hamilton and Joseph Albert Hamilton, Sr.; and his wife Nancy Jo Bell Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Lynn Crawford (Harry) of Hanover, Indiana and Steven Glenn Hamilton (Shelly) of Lancaster, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jay Crawford (Kim), Melynda Shaffer (Chenoweth), Joe Crawford (Angela), Georgia Windsor (Daniel) and Drew Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Belle Crawford, Amelia Windsor, Raygan Crawford, Madison Windsor, Riley Crawford, Claire Shaffer, Natalee Crawford, Haylee Crawford, Keeton Shaffer, Lincoln Windsor, Carson Shaffer and Breckin Windsor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Baptist Church Building Fund.
