She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison "Bill" and Ramona Ann Owens (Potts); and her son Marty Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Harold Brooks; her sons, Todd Brooks (JoEllen) of Hayden and Jody Brooks of North Vernon; her siblings, Gary Owens of Columbus and Vicky Miller of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Kristine Johnson (Michael) of Madison, Kelly Brooks of Hayden, Cory Brooks of Hayden, Jody Brooks of North Vernon, Emily Brooks of North Vernon, Nick Brooks of North Vernon and Zack Brooks of North Vernon.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Hayden Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in honor of Patsy through the funeral home to donor's choice of organization.
