She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Sams and Sallie Elizabeth Bolton Sams; her husband Charles Morris Hensler; her son Robbie Joe Hensler; her siblings, Geneva Sams Cook and Harold Sams; her great grandchild Brok Daniel Konkle Hensler; and her son-in-law James "Jim" Stanley Skladzien.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Ciganovich-Skladzien of Hanover, Indiana; her grandchildren, John Ciganovich (Jessica), Elizabeth Ciganovich, Sallie Ciganovich Hotch (Jay), Carlene Hensler Meloy (Chris) and Charles R.; her great grandchildren, John Charles Ciganovich, Madalyn Ciganovich, Cole Meloy, Camryn Meloy and Skylar Grace Hotch; her stepgranddaughter Amy Skladzein Rudigier (Jason); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachael, Joshua and Rudigier. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
