We announce the death of Richard Lyn Campfield of Hanover, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 65. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Campfield and Imogene Bryant Campfield; his siblings, Chester, Charles Campfield, Goldie Poole and Annie Bridgewater; and his brother-in-law Robert Thompson.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Jennifer Thur Buchanan of Hanover; his girlfriend's children, Lenea, Geran and Brian; his sister Joyce Thompson of Columbus, Indiana; his brother-in-law Kenneth Poole of Scipio, Indiana; and his niece Barbara Wright of Columbus, Indiana. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
