He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Bower and Dorothy "Dot" Belle Davidson Bower; his sister Betty Craig; and his brother-in-law Larry Craig. He is survived by: his nephews, Zachary Craig (Jolinda) of Bedford and Shannon Craig (Stephanie) of Louisville, Kentucky; his niece Michelle Griffith (Jeff) of Bedford, Kentucky; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter Craig, Elliott Craig, Chloe Crowell, Allison Whalen and Elissa Kapke. He is also survived by his several great great nieces and nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to the House of Hope or Disabled American Veterans.
