He was predeceased by: his parents, David Harmon and Maria Harmon; his brother Merle Harmon; and his sister-in-law Maxine. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Harmon; his children, Christy Forbes (Robert) of Des Moines, Iowa and Shane Harmon (Tami) of Florida; his granddaughter Virginia Forbes; and his nephew Ralph Harmon (Karla) of Boone, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Church.
