He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Crump and Garnet Crump (Elliott); and his brother Stephen Crump. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Crump; his children, Rena McFerrin (Rick) and Kevin Crump (Anne); his siblings, Nolan Crump (Deb) and Delilah Earhart; his grandsons, Douglas Mayfied, William Mayfield, Daniel McFerrin, Nicolas Crump, Samuel Crump, Franklin Crump and Lewis Crump; and his great grandchildren, Marshall McFerrin and Parker McFerrin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards Redkey Church of the Nazarene.
