He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry G. McDonald and Mabel I. McDonald (Rogers); his siblings, Ernie McDonald, Jerry McDonald, Thomas J. McDonald, Rose A. Starnes and Susan I. McDonald; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Sue McDonald and Harry L. Alfrey.

He is survived by : his sons, Gregory M. Worland (Michael M. "Tory") of Indianapolis and David Charles McDonald (Paula) of Madison, Florida; his grandson David Christopher McDonald; his siblings, Jack L. McDonald (Fay) of Hartford City and Judy M. Alfrey of Hartford City; and his sister-in-law Janet M. McDonald of Hartford City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
