Hoffman of Hartford City, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Sr. Hoffman and Rozella Hoffman (Allen); and his sister Rose Marie Roberts. He is survived by : his wife Sonya Hoffman; his children, Nicholas Hoffman (Micah), Aaron Hoffman (Jessica) and Katrina Hoffman (Golden); his grandchildren, Jaiden Golden, Keaton Hoffman, Connor Doster, Bridger Smith, Bode Hoffman and Brentley Hoffman; and his siblings, Carolyn Stutler (Rick), Herman Hoffman Jr., Mary Truitt, Marilyn Jean Faulkenburg (David), Jim Hoffman (Resa) and Frank Hoffman (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorials in memory of Fred may be made to Blackford Youth Soccer or to St. John's Catholic Church c/o Waters Funeral Home.
