He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis E. Kirkpatrick and Doris F. Kirkpatrick (Edwards). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie J. Kirkpatrick (Cheney) of Hartford City; his children, John E. Kirkpatrick, II (Paula) of Hartford City, Shannon M. Pryor (Kevin) of Hartford City and Lisa D. Sandoe (Jay) of Hartford City; his grandchildren, Nicole Kirkpatrick, Teresa Kirkpatrick, Travis Ferrell, Victoria Kroon, Brandon Pryor, Jacob Kirkpatrick of Austin Pryor, J. J and Sandoe; and his sisters, Phyllis Sparks of Hartford City and Betty Kirkpatrick of Hartford City. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
