He was predeceased by: his father Donald Joseph Cox; and his brother Jeffery Allen Cox. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Darlene Cox-Clenin (Schoonover) of Gladstone, MO; his wife Lisa M. Cox (Elliott) of Hartford City; his children, Stephanie M. Purvis (Matt) of Hartford City and Andrew W. Cox (Carrie Conner) of Hartford City; his grandchildren, E. J. Friel-Purvis, Damen Purvis, Calliope Purvis, Mia Cox, Bastian Purvis and Alexis Conner; and his sister Wendy Cox of Goshen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
