He is survived by : his wife Laurie Ziliak (Blanchette) of Haubstadt; his children, Krista Schmitt (Jason) of Haubstadt and Zachary Ziliak (Stefanie) of Haubstadt; his grandchildren, Maddie, Emmett, Ellie Schmitt, Maverick and Sawyer Ziliak; and his brothers, Randy Ziliak (Jamie) of Haubstadt and Ryan Ziliak (Jody) of Shiloh, IL..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home (500 E Park St, Fort Branch, IN 47648). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639).
