He was predeceased by : his parents, James Smith and Mildred Smith (Osborne); his siblings, Jim Smith and Kim Bostic; and his sister-in-law Beth Grenke.
He is survived by : his children, Cristina Rayburn (Brian) of Wanatah, Rebecca Saylor (John) of Westville and Robert Smith of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Cole Laux, Haley Saylor and Jack Saylor; his sister Kathy Smith; and his former life partner Karen Smith.
