He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; his parents, Frank Verhoeve and Fran Verhoeve; and his brother Patrick Verhoeve. He is survived by: his children, Robert Verhoeve, Thomas Verhoeve (Kristen) and Kimberly Jones (Johnny); his grandchildren, Kyle Verhoeve (Emilee), Kathleen Bentley (Zach), Kelsie, Ryan Verhoeve, Brittney Mitchem (Dylan), Brandon and Brooke Jones; his siblings, Warren (late Patricia) and Lorraine Wolff (late Lamont); and his sister-in-law Ceil Verhoeve. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (302 N Madison St, Hebron, IN 46341).
