He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd S. Johnson and Lena May Cummings; his wife Linda Lou Turpin; his granddaughter Sara Marie Johnson; his great grandchild Robert Kiven Gillespie; and his siblings, Robert, Donald, William, Marvin, Walter Johnson, LaDonna Shroeder and Bernice Stultz.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Johnson (Lisa Kemper) of Illinois, Troy Johnson (Tracy) of Bedford and Kim Gillespie (Scott); his grandchildren, Robert Gillespie, Danny Gillespie (Megan), Jimmy Gillespie (Lauren), Lindi Kelley (Justin), Laini Johnson, Kristen Stewart, Hollie Johnson and Stephanie Johnson; his great grandchildren, Chesney (Sven Lutchka), Grayson, Eliza, Damien, Ivy, Shelby, Peyton, Jaxson, Dawson, Braxton, Clayton, Remington and Everett; his siblings, Charles Johnson (Pat) of Oolitic, Steve Johnson of Heltonville and Rowena Todd of Heltonville; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Johnson of Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
