He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Roberts and Mildred Roberta Roberts (Stafford); his sister Sally Fornwald; and his brothers-in-law, Donnie Hughes and Reber Fornwald.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sarah Simmerman; his children, Lisa Bartlett (Jeff), Lana Roberts, Bart Ornelas (Kathy) and Richard Ornelas (Mary Grace); his sister Sharon Hughes; and his granddaughter Montana Roberts. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
