He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas "Bud" Leep and Hilda Leep (Zandstra); and his siblings, Barton, Ken and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Brett; his daughters, Emily (Thomas) and Carrie (Craig); and his sister Joyce. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Evangelical Lutheran Church (6705 Hohman Ave, Hammond, IN 46324). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
